Maybe when next your female friend want to offer u handshakes, u will tell them it's now your new year 2017 resolution to stay safe. So U now accept kisses not shakes anymore.

U'd likely get at least five kisses per day. Yuck!

A handshake is a widely accepted way of greeting and exchanging pleasantries. It is formal and also accepted in informal settings. Kissing however is more intimate and is mainly sexual in nature. There are actually other less intimate forms of kissing which include pecking.

Research has actually shown that it's safer to kiss as means of exchanging pleasantries than handshakes. A single handshake spreads over 20 disease-causing germs at once. While a kiss will rarely spread infection. A person you just shook may have just sneezed out germs or may have just left the toilet or may have just touched a dirty railing or any other stuff. Handshakes offer AGT - Automatic Germs Transmission.

So, think twice before you offer that handshake. Wash off your hands regularly with soap and water especially before food, and also use hand sanitizer.

Or worst still, go for a kiss, not a handshake. Really?
