They see it also lucrative business. This is especially so when they abduct big people. Right? Big people, big ransom.

1. The process of abduction exposes innocent people to danger, many die in the process. There was a case of a big man who security aid and driver were shot dead and the man abducted. That's murder. Case 1.

2. The period of abduction also is filled with danger. Many kidnapped victims get killed, some exposed to turture and other inhumane treatment. That's murder and attempted manslaughter. And detention against one's will. And violation of fundamental human rights. Cases 2.

3. The rescue operation as well as the release operation get many abducted people killed as well as many innocent people and security personnel. That's murder. They expose many to danger. That's attempted manslaughter. Case 3.

4. The ransom is actual theft and unauthorized and forceful take over of other people's property. It's a criminal offence. Punishable under the law. Case 4.

5. The whole idea is criminal and is not lawful means of achieving whichever end it is for - money, terrorism, or other. Case 5.

All in all, dear reader, recommend the right judicial action based on your opinion on caught and convicted kidnappers in Nigeria. Your voice counts.

Death is the only way.if the kidnapper gets bail and he is out then more people will be kidnapped and that cycle will continue.to many families suffer in the process with pain and suffering and (they) the kidnappers lives go on as if they have done nothing wrong .give them what they deserve DEATH and the world is rid of a potential kidnapping

You have great points brother. The truth is... Not that the Americans don't have tendencies to do evil but they have a working system that nit only identifies crimes and criminals, but a judicial system that is self effective. No one gets free.

We need such systems in Nigeria. Without that it will be hard to improve Nigeria.
