Enugu State Police Command has arrested a five-man robbery gang that specialises in robbing people of their property inside commercial vehicles popularly known as `one chance.'

This is contained in a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Ebere Amarizu, on Thursday in Enugu.
Amarizu said that following a tip-off, the suspects were intercepted in a Nissan Sunny salon car with registration number XA764 TFB on June 12.
He said that the suspects had robbed one Mrs Ifeoma Eze who boarded the car before she was pushed out of the vehicle, leaving her stranded.
Amarizu said the police recovered N10, 000 allegedly collected from the victim and some papers which were cut into currency notes size.
He said the suspects were helping the police in their investigations and would be charged to court later. (NAN)
